The Hellenic Data Protection Authority, in collaboration with the University of Piraeus Research Center and ICT Abovo PC, has been running a two-year project entitled “byDefault” funded by the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme and coordinated by the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
In view of the completion of the project in August 2024, an online conference, entitled “Presentation of the ‘byDefault’ project outcomes”, will be held on Wednesday July 24th from 10 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. (Athens, Greece time) in order to present the findings and results of the project and to answer questions.
The topics for discussion will include:
- the e-platform and digital library available at “https://collab.dpa.gr”, created for DPOs and privacy professionals, and the needs and wishes of its users;
- the educational programme and phygital game on data protection, which was created for primary and secondary school students, and its supporting material for teachers.
Τhe conference includes also a special session in which similar projects of other SAs or EU organizations will be presented.
Working language: English.
The conference will take place entirely online (via the platform e-presence.gov.gr – it is necessary to install the Zoom Client for Meetings – from which you will receive an invitation by email shortly after the registration is closed).
